Students attending the University of West Florida will be able to catch a free shuttle from campus to the polling station during Florida’s early voting period.
Shuttles will depart in two-hour intervals — at 10 a.m., noon, 2, 4 and 6 p.m. — from the Commons parking lot on the UWF campus, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4. They will transport students to the Escambia County Polling Station on 9th Avenue. Students must bring a valid Florida I.D. and be registered to vote.
The free shuttle is being provided by UWF’s Student Environmental Action Society, as well as Communities United for Environmental Justice and VOTEMOB.ORG. Free snacks are drinks will also be provided to shuttle riders.
